Bond is called in when it is noticed that large amounts of diamonds may be being stockpiled. What 007 thinks is simply a minor smuggling case, could very well turn out to be something much more sinister... > **Mr. Wint**: The scorpion. \\ > **Mr. Kidd**: One of nature's finest killers, Mr. Wint...\\ > **Mr. Wint**: One is never too old to learn from a master, Mr. Kidd. From the canals of Amsterdam to the casinos of Las Vegas, James Bond travels the world in pursuit of the answers to his case. Who is stockpiling the diamonds, and perhaps much more important, why? With James Bond 007 on the case, the answer will surely present itself sooner or later. James Bond is hutning down [[films:characters:ernst-stavro-blofeld|Blofeld]] in hopes of taking down his prime enemy once and for all. After a skirmish between his men and Bond, the two finally engage in a fight, with Bond the victor. Could [[films:organizations:spectre|SPECTRE]] be behind him once and for all? Later on Bond and [[films:characters:m|M]] discuss the diamond smuggling problem and Bond is sent to Holland under the alias of [[films:characters:peter-franks|Peter Franks]] to make contact with [[films:characters:tiffany-case|Tiffany Case]] and investigate the problem. Throughout the case he makes contact with others connected in this vast pipeline of smuggling, names such as Shady Tree, Morton Slumber and [[films:characters:peter-franks|Peter Franks]]. Bond is also closely watched by gay assassins [[films:characters:kidd-wint|Mr. Wint]] and [[films:characters:kidd-wint|Mr. Kidd]]. In Las Veags, Bond makes contact with Felix Leiter, who helps him throughout his case and then works with [[films:characters:tiffany-case|Tiffany]] in continuing his mission. High speed moonbuggy and car chases follow. Bond eventually ascends his hotel room to meet the elusive [[films:characters:willard-whyte|Willard Whyte]] - who hasn't been seen by the public in some time. A great surprise awaits him when it turns out that [[films:characters:ernst-stavro-blofeld|Ernst Stavro Blofeld]] is not only alive, but acting as [[films:characters:willard-whyte|Whyte]]. Bond manages to escape alive. Bond later finds out that [[films:characters:ernst-stavro-blofeld|Blofeld]] is stockpiling the diamonds and has created a powerful satellite with them, capable of destroying targets on Earth that he chooses. [[films:characters:ernst-stavro-blofeld|Blofeld]] has set sights on Washington D.C. and Bond quickly arrives on the island to stop him. After a grand-scale battle, Bond and [[films:characters:tiffany-case|Tiffany]] escape alive.
